Sino Group and The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel are undertaking community work on the water distributing care packs and hosting underprivileged families for cruises
HONG KONG, October 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Sino Group and its new hotel, The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel, have teamed up with community partners to support boat dwellers and families in need by distributing 200 care kits and welcoming beneficiaries to cruises along Victoria Harbor and the Southern District on the 7th and October 8, 2022 respectively.
The care packages, including essential food items such as rice, cereals, cooking oil and biscuits, as well as anti-pandemic materials, have been distributed to disadvantaged families living near typhoon shelters in Causeway Bay and Aberdeen as well as to older people in the South District in collaboration with community partners including the Hong Kong Yacht & Start-up Association, the Society for Community Organization (SoCO) and the Aberdeen Kaifong Association.
In addition to the distribution of care packs, the Group and the Hotel welcomed more than 50 beneficiaries during cruises in the port of Victoria and the southern district of Dukling, that of Hong Kong only the original Chinese-style antique junk remains, to enjoy the scenic harbor and historic south side.
