New indoor playground sure to appeal to fun-seeking local kids

Lets Play Indoor Playground offers lots of fun for the youngest, and even includes a play area for babies and toddlers

The wife and husband team recently opened Lets Play, an indoor playground located at Mountain View Plaza.

“We saw the need for something to do for young children. They can find new friends and socialize,” says Garcia. MidlandToday.

“At first, we were looking to open a daycare, but it took another direction.

The 3,400-square-foot facility used to be an indoor play area, but Garcia said they’ve really tweaked things and created a space to specifically cater to kids ages six months to 10 years old. There is also a soft play area specially designed for babies and toddlers.

“We have two play structures, one being for two and under,” says Garcia, noting that there are also open rooms for pretend play and art play with another dedicated to those who are into it. are in the creeping stages.

The warm and welcoming facility also offers drop-and-go services for parents who want to get away from their little ones. In addition, on Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., children can come and have fun without their parents.

The couple, who have extensive experience working with children, moved to the Newmarket area six years ago.

“It’s a nice place,” says Garcia. “We like the fact that we can enjoy the lake.”

Garcia and Roop are helped in running their new operation by their children Christopher, 16, Ariyanna, 12, and Silas, three.

“They’re very excited and they really like to come and help out sometimes,” Garcia said.

Since opening in August, Garcia says they’ve taken in a lot of kids before school starts.

The cost to enjoy the facility is $14.50 for the whole day and parents charge $8.50 for children under two.

Garcia adds, “They (the kids) are very excited to see the place when they first arrive.”
